An NFT, or a non-fungible token, is a digital asset that represents objects such as art, music, in-game items and other media. NFTs differ from cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Etherium in a way that each NFTs possess a digital signature which makes each token unique from another, unlike the former in which their respective tokens have the same value and properties. NFTs create one-of-a-kind tokens that are capable of conveying sole proprietorship.

What makes Kusho special?

Kusho aims to bring innovation to the local NFT scene. Kusho paves its own path and build its own identity. The project is art and community centric, providing a platform for artists to establish their space in the metaverse alongside encouraging and educating the community to dive into the NFT space. This project is for the people, by the people.

Kusho will run on the Polygon chain, priced at 25-30 MATIC. Minting is on March 18-19 for whitelists. It opens to the public starting March 21st. Minting will be done here at the Kusho website. Every member of the whitelist will get a chance to mint ONE Kūsho. Those who minted during the whitelist minting can mint again on the public mint, but we will limit it to 3 per transactions. As much as possible, we want everyone to get a Kūsho and become a Shojin. 60% of the mint supply will be allocated for those belonging in the whitelist. For more details, check our discord server.

As mentioned, 60% of the total supply is allotted for whitelists. Whitelist minting is limited to one mint and one transaction only. Kusho maintains that it is for everyone. As much as is feasible, everyone who has their sights on owning a Kusho would get one.

Kūsho is the first animé-inspired Filipino NFT that aims to bridge newcomers to the NFT space and to be a platform for artists to start their journey in the Metaverse.

Yuann Kendrick Acosta

Project Lead

Yuann is a 19-year-old Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering student at Mapúa University - Intramuros Campus. Yuann has a 5-year experience as a freelance graphic designer, working with international clients such as Daijo.XV70, a car scene influencer based in Las Vegas. Also, he's a big nerd.

Sachie Santiago

Lead Programmer

Santi is a 19-year-old Computer Science and Game Design student at Ateneo de Manila University. She started getting involved in student organizations at an early age- ultimately acting as president in her high school's student council. She is part of the events organization sector at Loyola Gaming. Santi also had to learn independence at an early age, having to leave her hometown at the age of 12 to pursue her studies at Philippine Science High School. Since her early childhood, Santi has enjoyed playing video games and messing with tech in her downtime.

Dexter Magaro

Lead Administrator

Dexter is a 20-year-old Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Digital Cinema) student at Far Eastern University. He is the founder of a local streetwear brand Offgrid since 2020. Dexter has a 3-year experience in e-commerce, launching and selling different products online such as sneakers and branded apparels. He has been introduced to cryptocurrency since early 2019 which led him to invest in different coins and NFT projects.

Scott Real aka SAKK is a 23-year-old all-around artist from Baguio City. He has vast experience in the fields of art (both digital and traditional), photography, music, and dance. Sakk is the epitome of "black air force energy" also he hates loud and crowded places.

Graduate of BS Hotel and Restaurant Management. Scrappy has 2 years of Engineering experience as a member of the project "The Curve Hotel" in West Bay, Doha, Qatar. He also has experience in Real Estate as he worked as a Broker for Avida. Basically, his motif as a person is mastering one while knowing just enough on multiple sets of topics to become a Jack of All Trades and a Master of One.

Rain graduated as an Industrial Engineer and was a former DOST scholar. She has worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and Production Supervisor. After two years working in corporate, she now freelances as a Brand Strategist and Social Media Manager working for both local and international clients. She is now focused on NFT and Crypto markets, building strategies to improve branding and social media marketing. She believes success is earned, not given.

Roikyuu is a Software Engineer with 10 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and his Masters of Information Technology degree from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

Yuki is a self-taught artist from the province of Quezon who has a degree in engineering. At an early age, she started to explore arts and developed her skills in painting, photography, video editing, graphic designing, and building brands for the locals and international clients like Artisan Smokers. She opted to become a young entrepreneur with Tesla Clothing Co. as her business and was able to apply her skills in a variety of sectors in order to maximize her potential. She also became a guild artist for Ape Army Guild, a future DAO, after diving into the crypto space.
